Advanced Hazardous-Rated Seal-Off Fittings for Enhanced Safety: The ENY and EYD series
Hubbell’s ENY and EYD series seal-off fittings provide superior safety and ease of installation in hazardous environments with expanded trade sizes and improved designs.
Expanded Trade Sizes and Improved Design

Hubbell's new ENY series offers expanded trade sizes up to 4 inches, allowing for greater flexibility in various installations. The design ensures minimal turn radius, optimizing the spacing of enclosures and conduits, while large openings facilitate easy access to conductors for proper dam installation. The fittings are engineered to the latest 419 hub specifications, ensuring superior continuity and ingress protection, and feature an integral bushing to protect conductors during installation.

Enhanced Vertical Installation with EYD Series

The EYD series is tailored for vertical installations, with a 1/2 to 1-inch design that allows for rapid installation without the need for additional accessories before pouring. Larger sizes from 1-1/4 to 4 inches benefit from an optimized turn radius. A temporary plastic sleeve protects the threads for drains from contamination, and a continuous water drain path allows the conduit run to breathe. These features make the EYD series highly efficient and reliable for hazardous environments.

Applications and Flexibility

Both the ENY and EYD series are ideal for use in hazardous conduit runs, transitioning from classified to non-classified areas, and minimizing the passage of hazardous gases. The ENY series can be converted to EYD drain seals using K-Drain kits, adding further flexibility. These fittings ensure reliable performance and safety, maintaining Hubbell’s reputation for high-quality industrial solutions.

Hubbell’s new and improved ENY and EYD series seal-off fittings offer enhanced safety, reliability, and ease of installation, making them an excellent choice for hazardous environments. With their advanced features and compliance with the latest standards, these fittings are set to become indispensable tools for industrial applications.
