Finishing is the hazardous part of manufacturing. A paint booth or mixing room fills with flammable coating and solvent vapour during spraying, so the interior is Class I Division 1 and the perimeter is usually Division 2. The catch: you need bright, colour-accurate light for a good finish and a proper explosion-proof rating on the same fixture.
